More members of Super Junior stand up to SM Entertainment?

While the fact that Hankyung has decided to take legal actions against SM Entertainment is true without a doubt, we have also received tips about a rumor that five more members of Super Junior are joining Hankyung in filing lawsuits against SME. Those five members are Kangin, Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Donghae and Yesung, according to sina.com, a Chinese online news portal.

Another rumour claims that Super Junior M will temporarily disband and Henry will pursue individual project by teaming up with Zhang Li Yin.

These are rumours that should be received with high dose of skepticism as no Korean news sources have reported on this matter

SM Entertainment has revealed through a phone call with Newsen on the 22nd, "Donghae's writing posted on his minihompy was written before Hankyung filed in the lawsuit. The message was actually towards their own personal situations."

Interview with Hankyung’s legal representatives

We've previously reported that Hankyung of Super Juniorrequested that his contract be voided. Daily Joongang of Korea tried to reach Hankyung but was unable to reach him as he is currently in China. Instead, they were able to speak with his legal representatives.

- We heard that two separate actions were taken.
"To put it simply, the first action seeks to relieve him from the unfair contract and the second action asks to suspend the contract until the decision is made for the first one so that Hankyung may act on his individual will for the time being."

- When did Hankyung start planning on this action?
"We cannot answer that. We can only answer within the boundaries of what is described on the file."

- His arguments are the same as that of the three members of TVXQ / DBSK?
"Very similar. Hankyung also has 13 year contract with unfair terms."

- Did Hankyung have any contacts with the three members?
"We're not sure. He will soon release an official statement so wait for that."

- Has the date for the first trial been decided yet?
"The file did not even fully go through yet. DBSK's case took about two and a half months until a partial ruling was given and we expect about the same amount of time to be taken for this case. DBSK's case had numerous negotiations for settlements and couple trials so it took longer than usual. We hope that Hankyung's case would not be so long."

- Does Hankyung want to continue as Super Junior or does he want out?
"We don't know. Nothing has been decided in terms of Super Junior."

Dissension within TVXQ? Canceled Big East fan meeting

By now, many people already know about the ongoing struggle of the trio of Jaejoong, Micky, and Xiah Junsufrom TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki with SM Entertainmentin Korea. Many fans, especially Big East (TVXQ's Official Japanese Fan Club) were convinced that TVXQ would continue on as Tohoshinki in Japan with no issues, Avexpretty much said so. However, recently there's been some signs of trouble in Japan.

Most notably, the most anticipated 4th Big East fan club meeting being canceled. The reason for the cancellation was because Tohoshinki stated that they wanted to be honest and couldn't stand in front of their fans and put on fake smiles, fake happiness. They want to meet fans when they can truly smile once again. There's been rumors flying around that this proves that their is dissension and problems within the group. Adding further fuel to the fire were the lack of communication and very awkward situation between Jaejoong / Micky / Xiah and Yunho / Changmin in their recent performances in Japan. It also doesn't help matters when Changmin and Yunho previously stating that they're in support of SM Entertainment.

Hopefully if this is true they can quickly patch things up. They have such a great thing going, and I wouldn't want to see all the hard work they put in together to go to waste. Always keep the faith, now more than ever.

Super Junior and SNSD celebrates together with TVXQ Yunho

SM Entertainment groups Super Junior and Girls' Generation / SNSD, who recently collaborated for Seoul Song got together recently and celebrated after a successful evening for both parties at the 2009 Golden Disk Awards. Super Junior won the award for Disk Daesang while SNSD won the award for Digital Daesang.

After the award show, the two groups took off their makeup, wore casual clothing and showed up at a Korean BBQ Galbee 2 story restaurant in the Gangnam district of Seoul. About 50 total people showed up and they reserved the whole 2nd floor to themselves. There was a lot of crying and hugging between the two groups as they showed a brother-sister type bond at the late-night meal celebration.

Usually there would be a lot of alcohol with soju, beer, and wine served for such an occasion, but because of the combination of the Kangin incident, under-aged members, and Super Junior having to get ready for a concert in Naning, China on December 12th, they decided to do cheers with regular soda drinks instead. The total bill for the food totaled around $1400. SM representative Kim Young Min along with TVXQ memberYunho also joined in on the festivities and congratulated both groups. Fans of both groups waited until 3AM at the entrance of the restaurant to get a glimpse of their idols. Because of the dedication shown by these fans, some Super Junior members went out to greet them, give handshakes, and autographs.

This is pretty cool and shows the bond between the two groups.

TVXQ and Big Bang invited to Music Station Super Live

On december 8th, Tohoshinki's official Japanese Fan Club 'Big East' posted a message stating that the boys will performed at at the Music Statio Super Live event on Christmas.

Only top 20-30 artists in Japan are invited to the shows and TVXQ will make their first ever appearance on the show.Their Korean-counterparts Big Bang was also invited.

[News] 091208 Too Many People On At Once Causes Three Members’ Charity Fanmeeting Ticket Reservation Site To Crash

The fanmeet of TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu, YoungWoong Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun is garnering explosive popularity.

The server of Yes24 crashed when the site opened ticket reservations for the charity fanmeet that is to be held on the 12th at 8 pm.

The three members will be greeting their fans at the Love Sharing Meeting ‘Smile Again’ at Koryeo University’s Hwajung Gymnasium. This event that will last around an hour will be a large fan meeting capable of holding more than 5000 people.

Yes24 officially stated the three members’ attendance and said, “‘Smile Again’, which works with a children’s organization, was created to gift the fans with happy times from creating memories with Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu through a charitable event.”

This event is free of charge and all the money that is collected from donations will be given to a children’s organization. ‘Smile Again’ will be an event held by only the three members, there will be no guest appearances. Donation boxes will be set up around the gymnasium and all the money will be donated.

As the three members submitted a provisional disposition against SM Entertainment, and the dispute is yet to be solved, it will be hard for all five members to attend the fan meeting.

Many are wondering when TVXQ will return to all stand on one stage together in Korea as U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin returned to Korea from Japan separately from the other three members after finishing their Japanese schedule.

Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry - Answer” MV to be released this week

Back in March, Super Junior made their anticipated comeback with Sorry Sorry, and proceeded to sweep into the kpop scene and claim the hearts of many fans both new and old. Even after the promotions ended, people couldn't get enough of this track, and yesterday it was revealed that the popular idol group would be returning with a Sorry Sorry - Answer remix and Super Junior THE 2ND ASIA TOUR CONCERT ALBUM Super Show 2 album on the 9th and 10th, respectively.

But that's not all - today it was confirmed that on December 10, Super Junior's official website would unveil the music video for Sorry Sorry - Answer to the public. The filming, which took place in Namyangju, Gyeonggi, was led by studio director Chun Hyuk Jin, who has directed many other music videos for SM Entertainment.

Similar to the original Sorry Sorry music video, Sorry Sorry - Answer will have a monochrome concept with primarily black, white and brown hues, and promises a simple yet sensational display for fans to enjoy.

Q: Chinese fans also want Ga Eul and Yi Jeong to be together. What do you think of Kim Bum? Is there a possibility for further development?


A: (Laughs) A lot of people tell me that. However Bummie and I college friends, and we have known each other for a while. Therefore I don’t feel that way about him, and we’re just good friends. (More laughs) I hope everyone else can think this way too.

Q: If you like someone in real life, would you secretly like him or confess straight out? If you got rejected like in boF, what would you do?

A: There is the difference between Ga Eul and So Eun. I’m not the type of person who would confess, but rather keep my feelings to myself. Ga Eul is the opposite. When she finds the person she likes, she is strong and will confess to that person and try to earn his love. After acting this role, my outlook on love seems to change a little as well.

Q: Do you have any new projects after “The Man Who Can’t Get Married”?

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?


A: I like to exercise, read, study, and sometimes look at movies and dramas to practice acting. Sometimes I also go out with friends to play. I’m not only an actress. In real life I’m not different from girls my age.

A: The popular Geum Jan Di. Unnie and I have a good relationship. And I’m good friends with Go Ara, who goes to the same university.

A: I like Jay Chou, who acted in “Secret”. Do you like him too? (Laughs) I really like him and I enjoyed that movie. I think he’s very amazing, being able to take on many professions such as actor, director, and singer, and he does everything so well. Therefore I admire him.

TVXQ Trio to “Smile Again” with a fan meeting

We reported on a circulating rumor of TVXQ's Jaejoong,Yoochun, and Junsu holding their own secret fanmeeting quite a while ago, and the specific information toward this extravagant event have just been confirmed.

This fan meeting will be titled "Smile Again" and will be hosted by Yes24; it will take place on the 12th at 5 PM (KST) in a gymnasium in Korea University. Over than six thousand fans are expected to fill the bleachers to see these three boys once again.

Optional entrance fees will be collected from the fans during the event, and all the money will be donated to the charity for children. The trio has also agreed to this donation, and decided to earn no profit out of this event.

Unfortunately, the trio will not be attending under the name of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki for this meeting, but just their individual names of Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun. They have decided the team name should not be mentioned, since the rights to use such title are fully reserved to all five members, and not just three. JaeChunSu will also not be singing any of the TVXQ songs during the meeting, due to the possibility of sparking another dispute over their rights to. Instead, the event will be filled with carol singing, and mostly interacting directly with the fans.

A representative revealed,

The date and location have been confirmed, however the time and the schedule of the event can be changed. Exact information will be arranged as soon as the three members arrive back in Korea from their activities in Japan.

The tickets for Smile Again will be available through Yes24's official homepage on the 8th starting from 8 PM. The price is free, however there is a limit of only one per person.

Tokunaga Hideaki has a crush on TVXQ’s Jaejoong?

With a fanclub of over 800,000 members, it'd be an understatement to say that TVXQ is widely loved by both typical individuals and celebrities alike; recently, Tokunaga Hideaki, a Japanese performer who participated in FNS Music Festival with the boys, praised the fivesome for their hard work and performances.

When TVXQ asked the famous singer to perform his track Rainy Blue with them, the group revealed their love for the song. "[The members] worked hard to use Japanese to communicate with me," the singer expressed. "[They are all] really handsome, especially Jaejoong; with that beauty looking at me ... my heart speed up [to the point] that I wanted to hug him. If I were a girl, there is no doubt that I would fall for him.”

Gals, note this before you pull out your pitchforks: Tokunaga's a straight man, and later clarified that he didn't have such tendencies, so you're safe (for now)!

Have you ever wished to visit a town all about TVXQ? Well you can, sort of. Okay maybe not exactly but you can go to ‘Xiah Junsu Village’ in Cambodia!

Adra Korea, an international development and relief agency, has recently been working on a disaster relief project in Cambodia in a small village just an hour off of Phnom Penh. This village also happens to be the poorest in all of Cambodia. With more than thirty houses lined along the dirty waters of the nearby river, Adra Korea is working hard to improve the living conditions for the children who reside there. However, Adra Korea is not alone in this restoration project. Who might be helping them bring hope to the children of this small town, you ask? If you guessed the Cassiopeians, you’re correct!

TVXQ’s generous fan club, otherwise known as Cassiopeia, has been involved in numerous charity projects previously and this is just another one they that they can be proud to be a part of. In celebrating Xiah Junsu’s upcoming birthday on January 1st, the Cassies donated a large amount of money under his name to support the cause. And although Xiah Junsu and TVXQ are unknown to the people residing there, because of the gracious donation, the village has been named ‘Xiah Junsu Village.’

TVXQ Jaejoong declines IRIS offer?

Did TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's Jaejoong decline an offer to join the roster of the hit drama IRIS? Apparently so, according to some rumored reports.

Jaejoong recently showed off his acting prowess in the telecinema project Heaven's Postman and the people in charge of IRIS thought it would be a good idea to bring the top prince in Japan on board. The IRIS producers originally planned Jaejoong to appear in the final episode of season 1 (episode 20) and then have him as a full time member for Season 2.

However, for undisclosed reasons Jaejoong declined on the offer. I'm guessing it's because he's going to be very busy with his Japanese promotions with his TVXQ mates. Unfortunately, joining Jaejoong in declining a chance to appear on season 2 is the main star of IRIS Lee Byung Hun as a second season of IRIS would conflict with his G.I. Joe 2 filming schedule. Even though Lee Byung Hun is reportedly earning near $100,000 per episode of IRIS, Hollywood has some deep pockets. It's pretty sad news for me personally... because to me, Lee Byung Hun is basically the whole show.

It's pretty cool that Jaejoong was offered the role, I wonder what type of role he would've played? Probably some rogue assassin, something similar to T.O.P (Vick) of Big Bang. But if I were Jaejoong I would watch my back, just for declining the offer, the NSS should come hunting for him... he should ask Lee Byung Hun for tips, because he's good at avoiding them.

[News]TVXQ Selected as The “Japan Record Taisho (Award) Grand Prix” candidate!

TVXQ is selected to be the candidate of the grand prix award winner of “Japan Record Taisyo (Award)”.

The Korea finance and economy newspaper reports:

The No. 51 Japan Record Grand Prix Award, (sponsorship, by the Japanese Composer Association),
had chosen “Standby U” of “TVXQ” to recieve the “Excellent Best Music Award”,
and also sellected them to be the candidate of the “Grand Prix Winner”.

TVXQ had won the “Excellent Best Music Award” last year with their hit song,
“Doshite Kimiwo Sukininatte Shimattandaro”.
That records TVXQ to recieve this award for the two consecutive years sequentially.
The announcement was made on December 1st, 2009.

W-inds featuring G-Dragon, “Rain Is Fallin” won the “Excellent Best Music Award” as well,
and it was also chosen as a grand prix candidate.

There are 11 excellent winner of the “Best Music Award” and other competitors are such as
“Someday” of EXILE, and “Lick me” of Kumi Koda.

The No. 51 Japan Record Award is going to be broadcasted live at TBS at 6:30 PM on December 30th.

TVXQ accused of yet another fraud

We had previously reported that CreBeau, the cosmetics company known for their involvement in the TVXQ controversy, got sued in China by a company that used to distribute their products in the Shanghai region. Now, CreBeau's Da Lia region distributor decided to do the same.

According to the plaintiff, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu of TVXQ urged the plaintiff to distribute their cosmetics products claiming that they are shareholders of CreBeau and will personally take part in product promotion in the Da Lia region. The members did not show up for promotion and distributors from other regions informed the plaintiff that the CreBeau office has disappeared, forcing the plaintiff to sue CreBeau for fraud in order to compensate damage that they suffered. The plaintiff's claim is very similar to that of the Shanghai region distributor's, who also claimed that they suffered damage because TVXQ members falsely promised to show up for promotions and CreBeau's office disappeared.

SS501 Heo YoungSaeng reveals that he has “lost” Dong Bang Shin Ki member Hero JaeJoong to leader member Kim HyunJoong.

He said during his appearance on MBC Golden Fishery Radio Star on 2nd December, “I introduced Hero JaeJoong to Kim HyunJoong, but after that he was more close to JaeJoong than me.”

During the show Yoon JongShin has talked about rumours of idols, “There was talk that HyunJoong “robbed” Hero JaeJoong from you, the 2 of you were close before.” and YoungSaeng said, “We were close when we were SM trainees.”

on the night of November 26th, the ticket sells site got on fire!
The presale ticket agency interpark recorded the Mozart’s top sells on November 27th!

SMAP member Kimura Takuya says TVXQ is Charismatic

At the FNS Music Festival which aired via Fuji TV on December 2nd, SMAP members and TVXQ members had nothing but praise for each other. Especially SMAP's Kimura Takuya and TVXQ's Jaejoong.

One of Japan's top stars, Kimura Takuya of SMAP stated in regards to TVXQ, "They sing and dance well and they are also very kind hearted. Even though I'm a guy, they are so charismatic and cool." To which Jaejoong responded, "SMAP members can sing and act. It's amazing how they can handle all of these individual activities so flawlessly."

This was TVXQ's first time to perform at the FNS Music Festival and the atmosphere and interaction between all of the stars were great.

The boys of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki were together as 5 and participated at the prestigious FNS Music Festival on Fuji TV in Japan. Only the top recording artists are invited to the Music Festival and it's usually the most watched (top ratings) program annually.

The boys performed Rainy Blue along with Hideaki Tokunaga and also their hit single Stand By You. They also interacted with SMAP stating that Kusangi is supposedly good friends with Jaejoong. Kusangi stated they became friends after TVXQ appeared on the SMAPxSMAP show. Jaejoong stated he hasn't been in contact with Kusangi for a while because Kusangi changed his cell phone number. Kusangi stated that he'll give him his new number after the show.
